Serious Games For Security Awareness

The Institute for Cyber Security (ICS) of the Hochschule der Medien (HdM) presents first projects at a workshop of the Explore and Learn conference organzied by the Landesmedienzentrum Baden-Württemberg.

Prof. Dr. Dirk Heuzeroth, Prof. Dr. Judith Papadopoulos and Prof. Dr. Roland Schmitz will present the serious games “PictureIT” and “ITventures” to pupils and teachers on May 15, 2021 from 4:15 to 6:30 pm. These games are intended to convey security awareness through playful and metaphorical approaches.

Games Information

“PictureIT” is about building an Internet platform where users can share their photos and videos. “ITventures” is designed as a journey through cyber security. At a workshop of the explore and learn event organzied by the Landesmedienzentrum Baden-Württemberg.
